MBA programs
The Postgraduate Department delivers MBA programs. All these are conducted on a part-time basis.
The teaching in the Russian MBA programs is delivered in Russian.
The duration of the Russian MBA programs is 21 months.
The courses consist of over 650 contact hours and a significant number of out-of-class assignments.
The classes are designed to meet the practical needs of Russian business people. More than 40% of the classes are conducted on an interactive basis (including brain storms, discussions, trainings, case studies, etc.). Nearly 60% of the case studies have been prepared by IBS-Moscow teachers, and are deeply rooted in the real life of Russian businesses.
It is only managers with a university degree and significant practical experience that may be enrolled in these programs. MBA enrollees must have at least a 3-year business experience.
IBS-Moscow entrants are enrolled on a competitive basis. This is done through a written exam and interviews to identify the most prepared and motivated, taking into account their practical and management background. The IBS-Moscow competitive enrolment rules for MBA programs are looked at as one of the strictest in Russia.
