Integrating Responsible Management and Sustainability Principles into Business Education

How can Business Schools play a larger role in educating future managers with the skillsets required to progress responsible management and sustainability agendas? Organisations championing the responsible management and sustainability agendas — such as United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) — have mounted additional pressure on Business Schools to meet the pressing challenges of the 21st century. To meet these challenges, Business School professionals and teaching faculty should develop and integrate responsible management and sustainability principles into their programmes if they are to retain relevancy and appeal to the next generation of socially conscious students and graduates.

This workshop, designed for Business School professionals and teaching faculty, will demonstrate how Russian Business Schools can integrate responsible management and sustainability principles into their programmes, with a focus on finding commercially feasible solutions to sustainability issues. During the workshop, Russian Business School leaders will present on how they have tackled this issue, and share their insights gained from implementing changes.

This workshop is a part of a series of workshops designed to support the continuous improvement of institutions offering management education in Russia. The event is ideal for deans, associate deans, programme director and managers, and teaching faculty, seeking to make a positive contribution to a discussion impacting their local economy.

This workshop is supported by The Russian Association of Business Education (RABE).
