Institute of Business Studies (IBS-Moscow)
Since its inception Institute of Business Studies (IBS-Moscow) within RANEPA has been a leader in the Russian business education market. IBS-Moscow is a collegiate business school operating an RANEPA’s premises in Moscow. IBS-Moscow was founded in 1988 within the Moscow State University of International Relations nationally known for strong international expertise. In 1994, IBS-Moscow transferred to RANEPA and became its homogeneous structural unit.
A combination of the international expertise of the Moscow State University of International Relations and RANEPA’s rich experience in preparing capable managers and executives has contributed to the broad recognition of IBS-Moscow in Russia and CIS countries. As a collegiate business school and RANEPA’s structural unit, we have access to the human and material resources required to ensure the high quality of our learning programmes.
IBS-Moscow has provided educational services to a total of over 35,000 students and managers from Russia and CIS countries. Nearly 8,000 of our graduates are active members of IBS-Moscow Alumni Association.
All our degree programmes are Russian government-accredited. Our part-time MBA and EMBA programmes are accredited by the Association of Masters in Business Administration (AMBA International).

Increase in personal income of IBS graduates is the fastest in Russia.
According to independent studies of a national-wide recruiting agency Job.ru and Russian MBA Alumni League, an MBA degree contributes to considerable career advancement and personal income increase. IBS MBA degree is at the top of the rating list. IBS graduates’ personal income has increased on average by 78% within 2-4 years after graduation. The results of the study were published by kommersant.ru, izvestia.ru, mba.su and secretmag.ru web portals.

Executive MBA Council (EMBAC)The Council was formed in 1981 to bring together different Executive MBA programmes. The aim of the Council is to advance executive education worldwide in a number of ways - through its partnerships, conferences, research, and outreach activities. IBS joined the Executive MBA Council in 2003. It is the only Russian member of the Council.
General Mamagement Admition Council (GMAC)
The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) was formed in 1953 to create an admissions test for graduate business schools. Today GMAC is a recognized international center for analytical research in business education. IBS joined GMAC in 2005 and since then has been actively involved in its research activities.
CEEMANCEEMAN was founded in 1993. The main aim of the association is to accelerate the growth in quality of management development in Central and Eastern Europe. It is a global network of management development institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change. IBS has been a CEEMAN member since 1993. CEEMAN has organised several events in Russia under the aegis of IBS.

IBS is a member and one of the founders of the Russian Association of business education (RABE).
