Representatives of Woxsen University (India) visit IBS RANEPA as part of the finals of the Market capture championship

A delegation from Woxsen University consisting of 16 people visited IBS RANEPA for a week starting from December 18th.

The delegation included representatives of student organizations, the university student council, as well as a marketing professor.

IBS Student Council gave the guests a tour of RANEPA, where they were showed the entire extensive infrastructure of the Academy, and then the students went to the Vorobyovy Gory park and to the observation deck, where the guests could enjoy the beautiful panorama of Moscow. Next day the students from India had an tour to Red Square; the main attractions of the capital made an great impression on them.

December 21-22 were devoted to working on projects: participants in mixed teams were working on products ideas, based on a previously conducted marketing analysis of the Russian and Indian markets. Students had to describe products using the 4P methodology, conduct a brief SWOT analysis and draw up a business model for the future implementation of the product. The teams' solutions were completely different: from electric vehicles for Russian roads to a QR code system for determining the authenticity of branded clothing. There were also ideas for using artificial intelligence: one of the teams proposed creating a medical consultant application and a “smart” mirror for selecting clothes. At the end of the first day, a pre-defense of projects took place, after which the students received feedback and advice on improving their projects. On December 22, the final defense of the projects took place, where the jury selected the winners: team 3 (Dinit Prakash Tabeti, Amaan Altaf Bhimani, Anastasia Knutova, Sofia Nikolaeva). All championship participants received certificates, the winners and organizers received cups and memorable gifts.

In the remaining days, the delegation from India visited the exhibition-forum “Russia”, where they got acquainted with the sights of all regions of our country and bought souvenirs to remember their trip to Moscow. Representatives of the organizing committee from the Indian side Abhishek Ponneri, Laasya Priya Darma and Professor Vijayendrakumar Shivmohan Gupta met with Sergei Pavlovich Myasoedov, Director of the IBS RANEPA, where they discussed plans for further interaction and development of cooperation.
