IBS RANEPA was represented by Associate Dean Prof. Evgenia Pashkevich, and head of Business Communications Department Prof. Natalia Yankovskaya. This was the first face-to-face meeting of PRME Chapter Eurasia, which was established 2 years ago. Over the last 2 years the Chapter has grown to include 17 active members from   Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. Present at the meeting were representatives from Almaty Management University, IBS RANEPA, Higher School of Economics, American University of Central Asia, Graduate School of Economics and Management of the Ural Federal University, KIMEP University, Narxoz University, Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

The meeting’s agenda focused on the Chapter’s annual report and plans and initiatives for 2024.

The event also included two PRME i5 workshops, In Russian and in English languages. PRME i5 workshopis a transformative 3-hour offline workshop introducing i5, an innovative pedagogy championed by the PRME community. It explores how to cultivate a new wave of students equipped to address global issues and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), revolutionizing education with creative pedagogy. The workshop was the first of its kind in Central Asia, led by Ms. Aurora Díaz-Soloaga MsM, i5 Expert Pedagogy Member, and Dr. Ekaterina Ivanova, certified i5 trainer.

The next workshops are planned to take place in Moscow and Ekaterinburg.

As a voluntary initiative with over 800 signatories worldwide, PRME has become the largest organized relationship between the United Nations and management-related higher education institutions.
