Thanks to the International Bachelor that I integrated in my school, the ESG of Bordeaux, I had the opportunity to realize a semester abroad, either by integrating a company (internship) or in a partner University. Coming from a scientific and technical background, I came to get an additional training before continuing on my Master's degree next year, and this is what offered me the International Management Bachelor of IBS IBS RANEPA, a general training taught in English applied to emerging countries. I chose my school in Bordeaux to perform this international experience, having been several times in Russia, I had the goal to return there, in order to develop my culture of the country, of the language, and to build me a network, in order to work with this country in my future career.
We were very well received by the teaching team on the first day of class, explaining the plan and assets of the Campus: several sports complexes, dormitories, the different buildings in which we had classes, the main things to see and visit in the Russian capital,etc.
Regarding the administration, I would like to thank the people in charge and especially Zemfira Galimullina, who have done everything to help us quickly for receive our paperwork in good standing (visa extension, immigration card, student card ...) until the last day. Indeed IBS RANEPA has the faculty to deliver us our results and to answer our requests rather quickly, which was very appreciable.
An international experience is always more rewarding than an experience in our country of origin, especially here in an emerging country and for which Europeans still have a lot to discover.
An experience in Russia allows to differentiate oneself in the job market, and to discover a culture not very thorough in Europe.
The various subjects taught in English allowed me to develop my knowledge of International Business and to learn the associated English technical vocabulary. We also had the possibility to choose optional Master's courses, which allowed me to get ahead of my future teaching or simply to enrich my personal culture.
I particularly liked the Russian Language courses, very many, they allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the language, Business English courses were pretty rough because I was in a very good group, but allowed me to develop my level of English in-depth, Public Relations Management courses and Intercultural Management courses were very educational and interested me a lot.
I would like to thank Mrs. Abramova, Mr. Martirosyan and Mr. Isaev for their very professional teaching, for their patience, and who have always been able to respond to our requests.
Moscow is a fantastic city, wherein we discover and rediscover at each exit of the subway, it knows how to surprise us by its winter charm and lets discover its warm beauty when the beautiful days appear. The Russians are very intelligent people and cultivated with their history and their culture, it is necessary to know how to discover them and not to stereotype them, it will change the situation during a conversation. Our opinions and ideas about a culture are nothing when we have never dared to take the plunge, to come to see with our own eyes and live it oneself.
I do not know how to thank IBS RANEPA for allowing me to have the chance to accomplish one of my main goals: to have an experience in Russia at an internationally recognized university, an experience that will allow me to fulfil my dream about my professional career, working for a big company in the aerospace and defence sector in partnership with Russia.
