BSIEM – Business and Social Impact in Emerging markets
This is a unique project that is being implemented jointly by universities in emerging economies. It is centered on promoting sustainable development goals and increasing the positive impact of business on society through the education of business school students. Participation in the project is free for students. During the academic year, partner universities organize five-day remote sessions. These thematic modules are devoted to discussing issues such as social entrepreneurship, social innovation, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, digital transformation in the social sphere, and circular economy.
Intended learning outcomes:
- create unique learning experiences in different contexts and countries (Brazil, Colombia, India, Russia, Mexico),
- acquaint students with a variety of situations, problems and opportunities,
- lead them to transform social issues into successful business models,
- build awareness and new prospective among business school students to enable them to do business pursuing integral wellness in the communities.
Participating students earn 2 ECTS for each module and get a participation certificate.
